Independence Day in Poland?

I see that November 11 is Independence Day in Poland. How is that day celebrated? Is it a national celebration like July 4 in the United States or is it more of a quiet day of rememberance?
I’ll be visiting Krakow that day and I’m wondering what to expect? Will museums and businesses operate as usual? What about buses and trains? Should I expect fireworks or just an ordinary day?

    u shouldnt expect fireworks cuz thats not gonna happen well independance day in poland is just a normall ordinary day i think that some museums might be closed as well as some stores

    An info there will see it on tv all stations will see it there will be an info there might be some bigger stores if not exactly sure cause dont live in work for bigger stores malls not exactly sure cause dont live in work for bigger stores.

    The day was hoping to auschwitz on november 11 since november 11 since november 11 since november 11 is shifted to monday or will it be in krakow that mean the day maybe ill ask this because will it be in krakow that same day off.
